We Continue to Move Up!

Khalaf Masa’deh & Partners has moved into its new offices early this year . The firm continues to be located at Amman Commercial Center (Al-Farid Building ) , but has moved up two floors to occupy its new seat at the 8^th floor of the building .

The 1^st Middle Eastern Conference of the WTLA

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and in cooperation with Khalaf Masa'deh & Partners, the WTLA held its first Regional Middle Eastern Conference under the theme "Globalization: the WTO and Business Opportunities in the Middle East".

Many keynote speakers from around the globe were invited to address the Conference. A large number of participants attended the Conference, from Europe and the Middle East. In particular, the Jordanian attendance was overwhelming!

The program of the Conference covered a broad range of WTO-related issues such as services, investment, accession, intellectual property, dispute settlement, the Doha Round and the relation between free trade agreements and the WTO.

Dr. Masa’deh Elected Council Member of the World Trade Law Association.

Managing Partner at Khalaf Masa’deh & Partners, Dr. Ahmad Masa’deh was chosen to become Member of the Council of the World Trade Law Association, a reputable organization based in London, UK and specializing in World Trade Law matters particularly issues related to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Members of the Association include well-renowned multinational corporations, distinguished lawyers and academics, policy makers, States representatives and officials at international organizations such as the European Union and the WTO.

The Council running the Association is composed of WTO experts and is chaired by the Honorable Lord Slynn of Hadely of the UK House of Lords.

Khalaf Masa’deh & Partners Becomes Jordan’s Representative to the International Business Law Consortium.

Khalaf Masa’deh & Partners has been chosen to become a new Member of the International Business Law Consortium (IBLC) representing thereby the jurisdiction of Jordan.

The (IBLC) is a forum for business law firms based in Salzburg, Austria that picks one law firm in each jurisdiction to become member thereto, establishing thereby a network of law firms all over the world but without creating any sort of affiliation between member law firms.
