Electricity Regulation & Privatization: we pride ourselves for being the Jordanian legal practice, which heavily participated in articulating the new electricity regulatory structure of Jordan.  As part of our duties in the privatization of the Jordanian electricity sector project, we advised on the formation of the new Electricity Regulatory Commission, the drafting of the new General Electricity Law No. 64 for the year 2002 and other secondary legislation, licenses and other regulatory instruments, transaction agreements, transfer schemes, guarantees, corporatisations and corporate restructuring, and commercialisations.

Projects: we have delivered advice on a variety of projects in the energy sector.  This included Al-Samra Independent Power project; the Wind Plant Power project; privatization of the Electricity Distribution Company, the Central Electricity Generation Company and, Irbid District Electricity Company; the Transportation and Sale of Natural GAS from Egypt within Jordan; and regulatory and corporate advice to the National Electricity Power Company.
